Research Associate Formulation and Analytics 100%

In this multi-faceted position, you will contribute to driving Numab’s projects towards development and the clinical stages. You will be responsible for the biophysical characterization and stability investigations of our multispecific antibody-derived therapeutic proteins by applying methods from a variety of disciplines.Your Responsibilities:

• Biophysical characterization and stability studies of antibody-derived proteins
• Generation of high-quality data in biophysical and analytical assays to support Numab’s discovery and development projects
• Critical review and interpretation of data to support the generation of developability profiles or lead formulation development
• Contribution to technology development projects and continuous improvement of processes (e.g. data analysis and automation)
• Planning, execution, analysis and presentation of experiments within team meetings and company presentations
• Work closely with team members to outline next steps and help to drive the projects to completion
• General organization of the laboratories, evaluation and acquisition of equipment and consumables

Ideal candidates will have:

• Completed apprenticeship as laboratory technician with several years of experience or a higher education in biology, (bio-)chemistry or pharmaceutical sciences, preferably with industry experience in recombinant protein/antibody characterization and analytics
• Experience in stability indicating biophysical assays (e.g. self-association, hydrophobicy)
• Professional experience in analytical methods (e.g. SE-HPLC, CEX-HPLC, cGE)
• Experience in lab automation is a plus
• od understanding of protein biochemistry
• Initiative, problem solving skills, self-motivation and curiosity
• Highly accurate and team-oriented working style paired with a high sense of quality
• Ability to work on diverse tasks independently
• Refined computer user skills (Windows, MS Office) and excellent communication skills
