PYP Primary Teacher

We are looking for a passionate and experienced educator to join our dynamic team at the International School of Schaffhausen for a short-term teaching position within our Primary Years Programme (PYP). This position will cover for a member of the Primary team who is on sick leave. There is potential for the role to be extended depending on the school's needs and performance.Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons that align with the PYP framework.
• Guide students through their learning journey, emphasising collaboration, critical thinking and creativity.
• Support the PYP Exhibition process to ensure a meaningful and reflective experience for students.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues.
• Participate in collaborative planning and contribute to the school's vibrant learning culture.

• A strong understanding of the IB philosophy and inquiry-based learning.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• International school experience preferred.
• Flexibility, adaptability and a collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Proven PYP teaching experience, including hands-on involvement with the PYP Exhibition.
• Internationally recognised teaching qualification.
