Your responsibilities:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Familiarize yourself with existing Products and their applications.
  • Prepare internal tehcnical documents linked to new development and product.
  • Prepare customer facing technical documents and manuals associated with the new products.
  • Manage documentation and translation libraries related to the new product.
  • Creat images and technical illustrations
  • Creat new documentation in alignment with existing documentation
  • Implement legal and regulatory requirements in user documentation.
  • Maintain the translation of the documents.
  • Actively participate in FMEAs to manage different risks via clear and effective customer facing documentation.
  • Look out for aesthetic and technical inputs in the overall product, labels, design etc.
  • Keep close collaboration with the global technical writer team.

 Your qualifications:KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS – REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s or master’s Degree in electronics and industrial engineering or relevant field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in technical writing or editing within relevant industry.
  • Professional kledge in technical writing tools such as Arbortext/Oxygen/other XML editors, DITA, CCMS, Solidworks composer/Creo Illustrate, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop.
  • Experience working with or within R&D team for new product development activities.
  • Experience of handling or participating in FMEAs in order to cover the risks through customer facing manuals.

 KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS – DESIRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL

  • Kledge of UPS systems will be a plus.
  • Experience with electrical manufacturer in UPS or similar applications.
  • Agile/scrum experience and experience using JIRA.
  • Experience working in an international environment.
  • Project management experience or skills.
