Swiss online retailer and international company Digitec Galaxus has announced that it will now publicly display the return rates of its products, in a scheme said to be the first of its kind in the world. Apple products appear to have come off best in the new report. 

Additional returns information will be available under “warranties” tab

The new information will be displayed to customers under the warranties and refunds tabs of their website, in an effort to make tech transactions more consumer friendly. On the website, potential customers will be able to find information regarding the return rate of each of their products, as well as statistics on how often the product developed a defect during the first 24 months following the purchase, and the speed of warranty processing. 

Alongside the changes came a report published by Galaxus showing exactly how often different tech products are returned. The report found that for mobile phones, the least returned products were produced by Apple, whereas Microsoft mobile phones were returned the most frequently.

According to Galaxus’s information, the least returned brands listed under “mobile phones” are:

3. Huawei
4. Wiko
5. ZTE
6. Samsung
7. Swisstone
8. Nothing
9. Realme
10. OPPO

The most returned mobile phone brands are:

1. Microsoft
2. Emporia
3. Rug Gear
4. Ulefone
5. ASUS
6. Blackview
7. Cyrus
8. Gigaset
9. Oukitel
10. Cat
