The property, known as “La Paisable”, is located in the municipality of Tolochanez, Vaud, around 20 minutes away from Lausanne by car, and 30 minutes from Geneva.
Set inside a 16.000-square-metre park, the property’s grounds include an outdoor heated pool, two garages, and enough parking space for 15 cars. Inside the 1.000-square-metre property, there are 12 bedrooms, eight bathrooms, two staircases and a lift.

Knight Frank, the real estate agent listing the property, specifies it as “price on application”, but various media outlets report that the asking price is 19 million Swiss francs. On top of that, the lucky buyer will need to have the right Swiss residence permit to purchase the property.
Hepburn lived in the property for 30 years until her death in 1993, and raised both of her sons - who went to the local village school - in the house. After her death, her sons lived there on and off for several years before selling the property to a family. Hepburn is buried in the cemetery in the village, within walking distance from the villa.
