This is a food festival with a difference. You'll find no food trucks or paper plates here, but rather a sit-down dinner with a range of cultural entertainments for you to enjoy.
Asian Food and Culture Festival
At the Hotel SEEDAMM PLAZA in Pfaffikon, Canton Schwyz, five different buffets will be laid out every Wednesday to Saturday evening. Delicate and flavoursome dishes from China, Japan, Thailand, India and Turkey will be available for you to taste and savour while a show is performed.
Chinese acrobats, Turkish music played on oud and tambour, a Bollywood dance troupe and an origami demonstration are just some of the cultural delights that will be demonstrated over the course of the evening. There will also be stalls to browse, selling things where you can buy things such as hand-made jewellery, henna tattoos or even a holiday if one culture has truly piqued your interest!
Dates and times for the Asian Food and Culture Festival
Dinner starts at 6.30pm every Wednesday to Saturday.
On Sundays at 11am, there is a Euro-Asian brunch on offer.

Attending the Asian Food and Culture Festival
The Hotel SEEDAMM PLAZA is just a 10-minute walk from Pfaffikon train station, which on the fastest train is just three stops from the main train station in Zurich. This means the Asian Food and Culture Festival is a very easy event to attend by public transport, even if you are coming from other Swiss cities.
