Polymanga
Polymanga has been the premier Swiss event for manga, Japanese pop culture and video games for the past two decades! It typically attracts an impressive 51.000 attendees. In 2025, Polymanga celebrates its 20th anniversary. The first 250 attendees will get a nice freebie - a special edition Polymanga document folder.
Each year during the school holidays at Easter, manga fans flock to Polymanga in Lausanne to experience the best of this exciting genre. At Beaulieu, in the vast venue that covers an area of 25.000 square metres, you can visit exhibitions with varied stalls and stands, as well as many concerts, video game tournaments, cosplay parades, karaoke and a large shopping area! If you missed Japan Impact, then fear not, because Polymanga has it all!
Live concerts at Polymanga 2025
Anime fans will be in for a treat, with unmissable concerts. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Polymanga, the singer Hironobu Kageyama will give a concert in the 1.500 seater theatre. Hironobu Kageyama is a living legend of anime theme songs in Japan. The K-Pop band Big Ocean will be giving a concert during the convention, too.
Pick up collectables and souvenirs at the Polymanga shopping area
At the expo, you can find vendor stalls specialising in all kinds of wonders, such as collectable cards, vintage and decorative boxes for storing cards, plushies, authentic Japanese ceramics, figurines and more. There will also be an illustrators' area and the results of the Polymanga drawing competition will be revealed.

The event is popular and typically involves long queues! To combat excessively long waiting times, pre-sale tickets can be exchanged for the final wristband (which will be placed directly on the ticket holder’s wrist) until Saturday, April 19, at all Payot bookstores. The queue at the entrance can therefore be significantly reduced compared to previous years. Of course, attendees can also receive their wristband at the festival entrance.
