Winter Wonderland is a light festival taking place in Lucerne each winter, where over 300 light sculptures are set among winding paths on the shores of Lake Lucerne. During this popular event, the famous Lido changes from a quintessential lakeside recreational area into a sea of dazzling lights, where you can walk among light sculptures of all kinds of creatures, from unicorns to majestic deer and Antarctic penguins!

The Lido is perhaps most strongly associated with swimming and sunbathing during the summer months thanks to its sandy beach. During winter, on the other hand, the captivating festive illuminations take over the park for several weeks. Winter Wonderland Lucerne proves popular with visitors from all walks of life.
