Festichoc
Festichoc, the scrumptious chocolate festival, will be taking place this year on March 16-17 in Versoix. It is one of the largest chocolate festivals in Switzerland, with tastings, sales, exhibitions and much more.
Chocolate galore
This event brings together over 34 artisan chocolatiers from all around Switzerland, and it's perfect for families. The festival includes tastings, sales, chocolate sculpture exhibitions, events and food stands. The purpose of the event is to introduce people to quality chocolate and the various trades that the magnificent food carries. It also allows visitors to experience and taste some of the greatest chocolate creations from the finest Swiss craftsmen.
Catering to the young and old, the festival is perfect for everyone. There is a workshop where visitors can make chocolate bunnies, exhibitions of elaborate chocolate sculptures, egg hunts, and a train that takes visitors to the Favarger factory where you can see how the famous Versailles chocolate is made.
Some of the yearly activities of the festival are:
- The Solon Des Craftsmen
