Visions du Réel features an extensive programme of artists, special guests and filmmakers at the very cutting edge of arthouse cinema. This is what you can expect from the packed programme:

Additionally, there are workshops with tributes dedicated to famous filmmakers. These workshops include retrospectives and masterclasses open to the public.
Special guest for the 56th edition: Corneliu Porumboiu
Corneliu Porumboiu is a filmmaker who is a leading figure in independent cinema and contemporary cinema internationally. He offers a subtle and subversive immersion into society by weaving long-form stories to explore journeys that challenge the notion of losing the individual within the narrative of a nation.
