We celebrate and embrace differences in gender, LGBTQ+ identities, abilities, ethnicity, and generations, ensuring everyone feels valued and included.Your impact:As an Academic Technical Sales Engineer, you will take ownership of academic sales opportunities, engaging deeply with universities in collaboration with MathWorks through sales presentations, workshops, customer visits, and event participation.

You will ensure close interaction and support for universities through the academic programs offered by Speedgoat, fostering strong relationships. Additionally, you will ensure customer success through post-sales activities, driving long-term satisfaction and academic success. Your role also includes being a specialist in global tendering processes and actively engaging in tenders. 
Your background
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering or a related field of study.
  • Initial expertise in real-time control and testing, ideally with a focus on controls prototyping and hardware-in-the-loop simulation.
  • Sales personality.
  • Initial expertise and experience in Academia.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (German a plus), with the ability to prioritize tasks, deliver high-quality outputs, and drive continuous improvements.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and quick learning ability in a dynamic academic tech environment, combined with excellent organizational skills to meet deadlines.
