LCA/ EPD Specialist (m/w/d)

• Define and implement Belimo's EPD program and build up internal kledge/ competence in developing LCAs/EPDs, using state-of-art LCA software
• Conceptualize the EPD program, define and implement the initial setup including processes, templates and LCA software, and manage operational execution with focus on region EMEA
• Perform LCAs and develop EPDs according to established ISO and EN standards
• Act as interface to internal LCA/EPD contributors and external EPD program operators
• Execute LCA evaluations for region EMEA and other Group Divisions • Support the marketing department of region EMEA in the communication on our product’s sustainability facts (e.g., content for internal and external communication)
• Leverage LCA results for Belimo's greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting and sustainability reporting (e.g., contribution to scope 3 emission calculation)

Competences:
• Degree in environmental or material sciences, engineering, sustainability or similar (BSc or MSc)
• Proven practical experience in the field of LCA/EPD work in an international company
 Methodical and technical kledge as well as practical work experience (min. 3 years) in performing LCA calculations and obtaining verified EPDs based on LCA • Familiarity with LCA databases (e.g., ecoinvent), LCA software and LCA/EPD standards (e.g., ISO 14040/44, EN 15804)
• Strong affinity with IT systems (e.g., MS Office, SharePoint), LCA/EPD software and data management tools
• Proven project leadership, experience working in interdisciplinary and project-oriented cross-functional teams
• Well organized and capable to work in a well-structured way; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Self-starter: highly self-motivated, independent, and reliable working style
• Advanced English skills both spoken and written
